Dear friends,

We’re incredibly excited to finally have a release date for Legends of the Round Table (for realsies this time!) and as the subject spoiled so well, it’s right around the corner!

I asked our founder, Yan, for a very small anecdote about what inspired the idea for Legends of the Round Table over 8 years ago, went to grab a coffee and came back to a 6 pages long Zoom message about all the things, starting with his teenage, that lead to his immense passion for Arthurian and all things Medieval. That passion is a direct reflection of Yan, the game’s creative director and frankly, the entire team that lovingly crafted Legends of the Round Table.

Instead of transcribing all of that here, I’ll begrudgingly summarise it with: Arthurian media (Pendragon, Excalibur by Boorman, his mother’s gift of a 1000 pages book on Arthurian mythos) and later on the ideals of chivalry as well as a fascination in the relation we can discover between true History and fabulation—never knowing which part of a legend could be true!

For the entire story, please join our Discord server and ping Yan (“Just a little rat in the corner” is his username) and ask him for more. He is one of the most passionate and best conversationalist I know.

If you’re not convinced yet, here’s a picture of Yan with his Sword in the Computer.

14 Tips & Small Details in LotRT

We recently released a video that spotlights how we turned real medieval concepts, especially ones based on chivalric honor, into gameplay mechanics. Watch it below, while you wait for the dev stream to start! :)

Thank you

Thank you for following us over the years, for your passion and your support. Without you, we’d be nothing and we’re thankful. If you haven’t yet, please be sure to wishlist the game on Steam and tell all your friends and favorite content creators about it. We need your help to get the word out there and make sure Legends of the Round Table doesn’t drown in the immense sea of games released every year on Steam (over 20,000 in 2025!).
